Dessiner et Dire
Drawing as a way of speaking.
A small printed object that invites hands, not just eyes, to respond.

Concept
This project is based on an excerpt from Dessiner et dire, which reflects on drawing as a form of expression through the hand. I translated this idea into a two-page booklet designed not only to be read, but to be used.
The second page invites participation. A circular grid becomes an open space where readers can draw, color, and visually express what they wish to say, echoing the text’s question of whether drawing can function as a language.
The title Dessiner et dire is typographically constructed from the same circular grid, reinforcing the idea that meaning can arise from simple gestures and structures. The project concludes with a selection of works created by participants, extending the original text into a shared, lived experience.
